Work at Swedish election day
Counting votes for the Election Authority
Today it’s the Swedish Election Day and I’ve been doing a (small) contribution for the Swedish politic by working in a voting station. I’ve been receiving votes, met hundreds of voters and I have been counting. A lot.
I’ve been counting envelops, I’ve been counting votes of each parties and I’ve been re-counting together with my colleagues (for today), – to make sure we all counted right. And I can tell you that counting on a event like this, of sudden makes counting a bit more challenging, when it just must be counted right. But that just makes me wanna be more sharp and clear in my working environments.
This was my third time working on a Swedish election day and it was good fun. What I like about working on events like this, is the that it’s social, outgoing, easy, fun and I get the opportunity to meet the locals in one specific area and that I can be organized and structured.
